Good Morning Everyone!
Today is going to be a short and sweet post because I’ve put my writing on the back burner. Anyways a fun fact about me is that I’ve studied the French Language for over 12 years. I super enjoy the complexities as well as knowing what other people are saying in a different language. I now would like to apply it to my current career: Doulaing. So below are a list of words that could be commonly used in a birth room. Enjoy!
What would I ever use this for do you ask? Well maybe there’s a French-speaking immigrant, or I travel to another country, or a woman who’s traveling happens to go into labor here. You never know, anything can happen and It’s not going to hurt to be prepared. Plus I live next to the Canadian border where possible french speakers can visit. Do you have any recommendations or think that I missed some important words? Comment below!
Have a great day!
